Not only is the building itself listed the bow windows and the baroque staircase are too, though those features are stunning, there is arguably even more delight in the very fine Edwardian details - from the door handles, Louis XVI gilt cornicing and chandeliers, right down to the magnificent window latches.

After a winter that seemed to last forever, the arrival of Spring is very welcome indeed! Brighter colours and flavours add vibrancy to dishes especially with the use of fresh herbs.

Our Head Chef Ian Lilley suggests trying peppery basil with tomatoes and cheeses; chives add a hint of light oniony flavour to salads and creamy sauces; and coriander's clean taste gives freshness to spicy dishes.

The Team at No.4 are pleased to announce that we now hold a Marriage Licence to accommodate your Civil Marriage/ Civil Parnerships. 

Your ceremony will take place at our Stunning Historical Venue with its original features and gold ornate ceilings.
